Bubaque Island
Where Nature and Tradition Live in Perfect Harmony.

The island of Bubaque is located in the Bijagós Archipelago, in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. It is here that our extensive property is part of UNESCO World Heritage 2025, thanks to our rare marine ecosystem and the traditional culture of the Bijagós tribe.
Bijagós consists of 88 islands, of which only 20 are inhabited. You will find untouched landscapes, natural habitats and culture, from the quiet beach to the lush jungle of palm trees, mangroves and extraordinary animal life.
The only red dirt road in Bubaque runs from the port of Bubaque to our peaceful retreat, passing through small local villages along the way. Our super cool African-style eco-lodge sits on a small hill at the top of Bruce Beach, a private white sand beach oxygenated by miles of mangroves and the fresh air blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean. Hidden away in our corner of paradise, you will have access to life's rarest luxuries... privacy, freedom, a calm spiritual vibe, space and time to be yourself.
